You must be able to safely negotiate situations involving other traffic. To do this you need to be confident when handling these situations. meeting- where parked cars or obstructions on your side of the road, you must be prepared to give way to oncoming traffic. On narrow roads you may need to use passing places crossing - you normally need to cross the path of other traffic if you are turning right into a side road or driveway. Make sure that you position your car safely and correctly as close to the centre of the road as is possible, and watch out for oncoming traffic, stopping if necessary. Don’t cut the corner or take the turn too widely overtaking- overtake only if you can do so legally and safely. Check the speed and position of any vehicles behind (they might be planning to overtake you), in front and coming towards you before you decide to overtake.
